SONIC ART INSTALLATIONS IN 6 BLACK TEEPEES
LIGHT IN WINTER FESTIVAL, FEDERATION SQUARE
19-20 JUNE: 5-8pm
Following on from the acclaimed JOLT presentation Sonic Flock at Federation Square (Melbourne Festival 2013), JOLT proposes to revisit the teepee forms featured in Sonic Flock for a new installation titled NIGHTFALL RECURRING.
Presented by Federation Square and JOLT
This work consists of a series of techno-Gothic sound and light machine installations by )-(u||!c|< presented within 6 black archetypal teepee forms that ‘float’ in light. Within each teepee there is room for one to two audience members and the installation itself. Teepee installations articulate futurist mythologies born from the melding of technology and archetypal forms. Installations feature light and sound, with a focus on audio speakers and subconscious archetypal forms.
