TIEN PHAM (JOLT CREATIVES): ANIMATION
Tien PhamI started off as somewhat of nerdy student, studying mathematics and science, along with some programming and IT. Since a young age, I was constantly exposed to a retail and interactive atmosphere, having grown up in a family business. With over ten years of that exposure, it shaped the basis of my curiosity in how the human mind works and perceives the environment around them.  Whilst I began in the field of Computer Science, my interests began to bubble towards user interactivity and digital media. So I took what technical experience I gained from that course and pushed it into the direction of 3d animation (and gradually 2d animation), bundled that up with my curiosity about the human mind, and it sparked a core interest for exploring the deeper connection between life and motion.  Tien has joined the JOLT Creatives for THE NIS.

RICHIE ALLEN (JOLT CREATIVES) - ROBOTICS CONSULTANT & SOUND ARTIST

Richie Allen is a 37-year-old artist and engineer who's playful approach to interactive works cleverly masks his subconsciously political agenda. Since 2000 “Richie's Electric Playground” has taken a curiously harmonious orchestra of novel electronic musical instruments (including the “Screatures” musical puppets) on a solar powered jamming roadshow around the world. Other interactive sculptures include the jokingly antagonistic “Cro-NullaNulla Man 1”, “The Great Wall” musical toy display for Big Day Out 2006, “War On” a physical video game interface presented at Electrofringe and SOOB 2004, “Chi Chi Fibonacci's” electric hermaphrodite suit, and the “Hypnonoodle” audio visual instrument for which he won the I-Give award for “Best Sound Toy” in 2004. Key collaborators include Rene Wooler, Matt Petoe, the JamExperimentDanceInteract crew, composer James Hullick, and Mekanarky Studios. Richie has worked on several JOLT productions including: CRANKY ROBOTICS and THE NIS.
