Nick Wilson is a Melbourne-based sound artist and electronic music performer. He is the Label Manager for long-running Australian electronic music collective, Clan Analogue, producing several of the label’s acclaimed albums including Habitat: Environmental Sound Research and Coordinate: Beyond the Algorithm. His work with Matt Adair as City Frequencies explores the metropolitan sonic environment, including in their Cafe Voyeur installation and recently-released Random Acts of Elevator Music album. He has performed at festivals such as Big Day Out and Earthcore, composed and recorded with artists like Dave Graney, Rae Howell, Tony Dupé and Penny Ikinger, and presented his work in the Melbourne Fringe and Next Wave festivals. His recording and performance acts have included Continuum, Tiatto and Darrow. Nick has worked as a community artist for the Yarraville Community Centre and Mornington Peninsula Regional Council, composed music for contemporary music ensemble Re-Sound and been a Nillumbik Council artist-in-residence.
